There are only several days left to the premiere the Huawei Mate 30 series line up. And just before the official release, new renders have been leaked, removing any doubts about the design of the devices.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is the flagship model and the most anticipated version of the Mate 30 series. The most striking feature is the quadruple primary camera in a round module with a distinctive ring. We expect to see a combination of 40MP main, 40MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto units. The LED flash and the 3D ToF sensor were moved to the side. The notch is still present, and still pretty wide. It is rumored that it may include a double selfie camera. The display uses the “waterfall” design with heavily curved edges.
Huawei Mate 30
Huawei Mate 30 will be a bit less advanced brother of the Pro version, but in terms of styling, it will be very similar. You can also expect quad-camera setup (looks identical to Mate 30 Pro but the spec may be a bit lower) and possibly double selfie camera as well. As for the main differences, the notch is a bit smaller (perhaps due to less ideal facial recognition), and the display will be flat, without the curved edges on the sides.
Huawei Mate 30 Lite
The cheaper Huawei Mate 30 Lite will bring more changes. Its predecessors were very popular in the medium price level, and Mate 30 Lite will probably continue the trend. The main camera module (probably 48 Mpix + 8 Mpix + 2 Mpix + 2 Mpix) is noticeably smaller and positioned differently than in flagship models. Also, the front camera is located in the top corner instead of the middle of the screen.
Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Design
Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Design will close the list of novelties. It will stand out due to a very high price and unique design. The specification should be similar to Huawei Mate 30 Pro (although more memory may be available). The design is similar to last year’s with a racing stripe in the middle surrounded by the handmade leather. Also, some renders indicate that it may include a 3.5 headphone jack on the top.
Let us remind you that the premiere of the smartphones from the Huawei Mate 30 series will take place on September 19th. As earlier rumored, the phones will probably launch without Google app, but Huawei is supposed to offer a workaround to sideload them.
