Huawei is preparing to update their line of smartwatches by introducing new models of the Huawei Watch GT 2. The smartwatch will work on Huawei’s HarmonyOS system and will add some new functionalities as well. Today fresh renders were leaked, showing the design of Watch GT 2.

Huawei’s flagship watch will debut on September 19th in Munich, where Mate 30 smartphones will also have their premiere. Many fans are sharpening their teeth on the latest smartwatch from China, and now we can take a look at more photos of its design.

The brand has opted for several color variants with differents faces and straps. They will be made from a variety of materials – leather, steel and plastic for the sport version.

Some models still have the bezel known from the previous version, and others are bezel-less, visually lighter. This does not mean that the Watch GT 2 will be less equipped. The specification indicates that Huawei has created the best smartwatch in its history.

There are five different versions of the smartwatch showed on the graphics, but most probably these are not the all editions available. The common characteristic is the two physical buttons located on the right-hand side of the chassis.

Huawei Watch GT 2 will have an AMOLED display with a diagonal of about 1.3-inch and high-resolution image. The watch of the previous generation had a screen of 454×454 pixels, so in this case, it should be similar or higher.

Everything is run by Kirin A1, a processor, designed for small electronic devices, presented already at IFA in Berlin. The chipset supports two Bluetooth technologies – modern Bluetooth 5.1 and Bluetooth 5.1 Low Energy. So the watch will be able to offer faster information transfer and even longer battery life (its predecessor boasted up to two weeks of battery life).
