Switzerland’s top computer peripherals company, Logitech Electronics, recently launched the Logitech K580 – ultra-thin Bluetooth keyboard which lets you work seamlessly across multiple devices.
Even though at first look new keyboard looks quite traditional it’s actually far from it. The sleek and elegant design hides multiple features and interesting solutions. Logitech K580 allows you to work with a computer but also connects to a phone or tablet. The keyboard even has a special holder where you can rest the mobile device for a better experience.
Logitech K580 Sleek but powerful
One of the most significant features of the K580 keyboard is that it solves the trouble people have when using multiple devices. The K580 can be connected to a PC either via Bluetooth or provided Logitech receiver. You can switch easily between one and another, which means that you can, for example, connect the keyboard to your computer with the receiver and use Bluetooth for your phone or tablet. That way you can smoothly jump between typing on a computer and your mobile.
The K580 also has a designated device holder where you can put your phone or tablet to get laptop-like experience. You can work on a report on your PC and then when you get a text you can switch with one button to respond to the message on your phone.
“We know you create content using multiple devices in the modern workspace, so we’ve created the K580, a new type of keyboard for better multitasking,” said Damian Lepore, Managing Director of Logitech ANZ.
The K580 is powered by Logitech’s acknowledged power-saving and noise-reducing technologies, so you don’t have to worry about battery when you work outside the office. With 2 AA batteries, the keyboard lasts up to 24 months, and key noise is reduced by 90%.
Packed with all these features, the Logitech K580 weighs only 558 grams and has a thickness of 4.5mm. The working range of the keyboard is 10 meters, so you can comfortably move away from your PC and still be within reach.
The keyboard is available in two colors variations – white and graphite gray. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Android, and iOS operating systems. For now, the keyboard is available only in Australia priced at $79.95.
