The third edition of Snapchat Spectacles 3 smart glasses are coming to market soon, with a new 3D feature.

4 SECONDARY Spectacles3 Product Combined 2 1

After Spectacles 2 at the end of last year, Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat, released the third edition of its connected glasses. They can enhance the experience of a user of the popular social network by allowing to take his “snaps” in a much more intuitive and organic, without the need to take out his phone.

The main argument of this third version “Snapchat Spectacles 3” is the presence of two HD cameras on both sides of the frame. This pair of sensors will capture the depth of field and dimensions of objects to send snaps in 3D! A new range of filters dedicated explicitly to these 3D snaps should also make its appearance. They can be exported as albums in various formats so that they can be saved, edited, and shared wherever you are. An original novelty that promises to be fun, and still a cool “Gadget.”

No big revolution apart from 3D, No change in features: just press to launch a video, and a long press to take a picture. An LED will light up on the glasses to warn your loved ones and potential passers-by that you are recording.

In terms of sound, we will be entitled to four different microphones, which should ensure a decent audio quality. The steel frame, with its adjustable acetate tips, should provide excellent support for proper weight, although superior to conventional glasses. Two colors will be available: the Carbon black, and a slightly pinkish/golden color called Mineral. The distinctive shape of the frame will not please everyone.

They will be refillable in their case, which will ensure up to 4 charges. The latter is supplied with its USB-C cable, but the manufacturer does not specify the exact battery life. They are available for pre-order now on the price of 370 €.
