Xiaomi always has an eye for the world of smart devices. During the Mi 9 Pro 5G and Mi Mix Alpha presentation event, the company found time to include several other exciting products, including Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker. The manufacturer promises excellent sound quality, even under challenging conditions.
For several years now, Xiaomi has had wireless Bluetooth speakers in its portfolio. However, the offer of the Chinese giant lacked a waterproof and dustproof device, that could compete with other brands in the outdoor areas. Well, not anymore. The company has just released its Xiaomi Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker.
The new loudspeaker has a cylindrical design with dimensions of 73 mm in diameter and 147 mm in height. It weighs 380 grams. The speaker communicates with a smartphone via Bluetooth version 5.0. The device can also be used as a hands-free car kit with two built-in noise-canceling microphones.
Inside we can find a 52 mm speaker drivers responsible for the audio experience. The battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, should suffice for 8 hours of music playback. An additional advantage is the USB port type C for charging. Also, you don’t have to be afraid of water and dust, because the device is IP55 certified.
Mi Outdoor Speaker is priced in China at 199 yuan, which is around $28. If you are interested in buying one, you can already find it on Aliexpress. Of course, the price is higher since it includes the commission of the seller and shipping costs from China.
